Monte Pietra dell'Erba
The trekking starts from the picnic area of Capracola fountain, situated at over 1000 meters on the wooded slopes of Mount Gelbison. From here easy dirt roads and small tracks take us through mountain pastures and dense beech woods to the foot of the rocky outcrops of Mount Pietra dell'Erba. During our walk we discover the tipical natural environment of the Mount Gelbison forests. While walking we may see several animals amongst which wild boar, or we may find wild strawberries. After visiting Mount Pietra dell'Erba, an easy track takes us back to our starting point.
