Monte Bulgheria
The trekking starts from the sanctuary SS. Annunziata at Licusati and arrives in the village of San Giovanni a Piro. Our track follows the south slopes of the mountain, through secular olive groves, tipical mediterranean maquis, mountain pastures and the remains of ancient oak forests. The last part of our walk offers breathtaking views of the gulf of Policastro. Once we arrive at San Giovanni a Piro, we visit the old centre and the basilean abbey of S. Giovanni Battista.
