SOME USEFULL TIPS

All Cycling Cilento Adventure mountain bike trips are led by guides who have qualifications from officially recognised mountain biking schools, and they will ensure that your trip will be safe. Your guide is a professional doing his best to offer a unique and thrilling experience, therefor you should take his advice on cycling in group and on general mountain biking technique to heart. During the trip we always adhere to local traffic rules and show complete respect for our natural and cultural environment. No deviation from the indicated tracks, no excessive noise and no leaving refuse.

The use of a cycling helmet is obligatory. In case you do not have one ready we will be happy to lend you one. You should wear sturdy shoes with profiled soles, shorts or tight trousers, a t-shirt, light sweater and wind breaker (depending on weather conditions). A pair of cycling gloves can be usefull to protect your hands. Do not forget a pair of (sun)glasses to protect your eyes from the sun and flying insects. A small backpack always comes in usefull.

In your backpack you should carry a second t-shirt, your wind breaker and sweater. Do not forget to bring a snack or picnic for longer trips, plenty of water, sun cream and your camera.

If bringing your personal mountain bike make sure it is in good working order, taking care to especially control the brakes. Always carry a spare air tube. Cycling Cilento Adventure has several front-suspended mountainbikes available for client use.
